An Important Update from the Golden Outpost

It is with heavy hearts that we share that the Golden Outpost and Golden Hayride are closed indefinitely, effective December 4, 2025.

We recently received devastating news that our beloved Coach (Stacy) has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. In order to fully focus on her care and support her through this fight, our family has made the difficult decision to close the Outpost and Hayride for the foreseeable future.

All upcoming holiday events, hayrides, and live music have been canceled.

So many of you have become part of our extended family, and we’re grateful for every memory shared on the Hayride and inside our tavern. 

Thank you for your love, prayers, and understanding. In the coming days, we'll have more details on how you can support the Fowler Family during this time.

The Tavern

Golden Outpost is a welcoming community tavern with rustic charm, Golden-inspired cocktails, and a rotating lineup of local food trucks. Created by Golden residents Stacy and Joe Fowler, it serves as the home base for The Golden Hayride and a lively gathering spot for locals and visitors alike. Guests can enjoy live music, cheer on their favorite teams, and savor local brews and specialty drinks. With indoor and outdoor seating, fire pits for winter warmth, and a full bar offering a wide selection of beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options, it’s the perfect place to connect and celebrate.
